IMORS stands for Institute for Middle East Relations and Studies. We at IMORS offer research and – if requested – advice on issues within the subjects Islam and Muslims. We aim at supporting and improving both governmental bodies and corporate businesses. We are experienced in approaching and reaching large groups of people. In our ways of approach and making enquiries we are commended for our creativity, critical attitude and academic pertness.
IMORS was originated from a succesful cooperation between Arjen Buitelaar and Vincent Vrijhoef who both followed the Master Religions in contemporary societies together, and wrote the Master’s thesis together. Thereby, IMORS exists of a so called emic-etic, or insider-outsider team. This prevents blind spots in conducting research and offering advice.
IMORS has a dynamic and well balanced team, with topical knowledge reaching to the core of subject matter.
IMORS aims at establishing a solid academic, cultural and professional bond between the Netherlands and the Middle-East.
